Takoradi Technical University has entered a five-year Memorandum of Understanding with Nayt Consult, establishing a structured pathway for students and young professionals to pursue employment in Germany.
The agreement was signed on June 26, 2026. TTU will host the programme on campus, providing classroom space, while Nayt Consult supplies qualified instructors for an intensive six-month German language course. Students who complete the training and pass the required certification exams gain the language proficiency needed to work legally in Germany.
Nayt Consult's support doesn't stop at graduation. Participants who relocate receive help securing employment, work permits, and visas, along with two years of continued follow-up from the company's Ghana and Germany-based teams.
Vice-Chancellor Rev. Prof. John Frank Eshun welcomed the partnership as a step toward stronger career outcomes for TTU students. Director of Finance Dr. Gabriel Ahinful noted that the University's continued involvement through each cohort, including the run-up to departure, will help reassure parents and safeguard participant welfare. A steering committee including University representatives and parents will oversee the programme going forward.
The first cohort is expected to welcome 50 participants.
